Big-company thinking, sized for small businesses
Tom's work usually sees him helping fast-growing, corporate organisations get ready to scale: their use of AI, their systems and their processes.
Talking about that work over a beer, he realised something. Big organisations have teams, budgets and advisers to help them use AI well. Small businesses and sole traders have none of that, yet they face the same flood of tools, the same big promises and the same risks, on their own and with no time to work it out.

For most small businesses, AI is a minefield. Dozens of tools all claim to do everything. Subscriptions quietly add up. What comes out looks like everyone else's, or isn't fit to print. Customer details end up in places they shouldn't. And most of the advice is written for big companies or for tech people.
Exmoor AI is what came out of that conversation. Tom brings the same structured, careful approach he uses with large organisations, sized to fit a small business: the right tools, set up properly, in plain English, with a person checking everything before it goes out.
We work with businesses in and around Minehead, Dulverton, Porlock, Lynton, Barnstaple, Tiverton and Taunton, and by video call anywhere in the UK.

- Facts, prices, dates, phone numbers and offers are correct
- Spelling, grammar and tone are right for your business

- Images look natural, have no garbled text and are cleared for use
- Print files are the right size, resolution and bleed for the printer
- No claims that break advertising rules or overpromise
- No customer personal data goes into AI tools without your consent

Plain English, always
No jargon and no hype. If a term is unavoidable, we explain it in the same sentence.
Honest about what AI cannot do
AI can draft it. A person should still check it. Some jobs, like a complaint or anything legal, are better done by hand, and we will say so.
